Hosted Exchange passera à TLS 1.2 à partir du 1er août 2023
Dear Customers
We would like to inform you that starting August 1, 2023, TLS versions 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will be deactivated on our Hosted Exchange platforms. Instead, there is a switch to TLS 1.2. This change is being made to further improve the security and integrity of the transmitted data.
How does this affect you?
As of August 1, 2023, Hosted Exchange will no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1. By August 1, 2023, all clients and browsers should be using TLS version 1.2 (or a later version) to ensure trouble-free connection to our services. This may require updates to certain clients and browsers. If you don't upgrade to TLS version 1.2 (or later) by August 1, 2023, you may experience problems connecting to the hosted exchange.
What do I need to do to prepare for this change?
We recommend that you proactively address weak TLS usage by removing TLS 1.0/1.1 dependencies in your environments and, if possible, disabling TLS 1.0/1.1 on your operating system. If you are using Outlook 2010 for Windows or Outlook 2011 for Mac, you need to replace them with newer versions. If you are using Outlook 2013 SP1 (or later) or Outlook 2016 for Mac, you need to make sure they are up to date. Windows 7 users can use TLS 1.2 client applications and browsers, using the following Microsoft to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as the default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows (microsoft.com).
